Essential Vietnam: From Northern Mountains to Southern Delta – 8 Days

Overview

An 8-day journey through Northern, Central and Southern Vietnam, combining the cultural highlights of Hanoi, the ancient landscapes of Ninh Binh, the spectacular scenery of Ha Long Bay, the heritage of Hoi An and the mountain attractions of Da Nang, followed by a Mekong Delta experience from Ho Chi Minh City.

The journey begins in Hanoi, with free time to explore Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi Old Quarter, Hanoi Opera House, Hanoi Church, Observation Sky Deck and enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show.

The tour continues to Ninh Binh, visiting the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the temples of King Dinh and King Le, followed by a scenic boat trip through Trang An and a climb at Mua Cave and Ngoa Long Mountain for panoramic views of the surrounding rice valley.

The next day is dedicated to Ha Long Bay, with a day cruise from Tuan Chau Harbor through the bay's limestone formations. Highlights include Bo Hon Archipelago, Surprising Cave, Luon Cave, Titop Island and Titov Peak, with kayaking included.

The journey then flies to Da Nang, visiting Marble Mountains and Hoi An Ancient Town, including the Japanese Covered Bridge, Sa Huynh Cultural Museum, Ancient House, Lantern Street and Nguyen Hoang Night Market.

A full day at Ba Na Hills features Golden Bridge, Linh Ung Pagoda, French Villas, Nui Chua Mountain, Nghinh Phong Peak, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden, Debay Ancient Wine Cellar, Le Jardin D'Amour and Fantasy Park.

The final part of the journey takes guests to Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, including My Tho, Vinh Trang Pagoda, Unicorn Island, Mekong River boat trips and Tan Thach Village, with opportunities to experience local life, tropical fruit gardens, canals and traditional products.

Welcome to Vietnam!

Upon arrival, you are met at the Noi Bai airport and transferred to the hotel by our driver. The official check-in time is 14:00 (Early checkin will be surcharged). Free on your own.

Suggestion: You can self-explore local sightseeing such as Ha Noi Church, The Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake, Observation Sky Deck and travel through the Old Quarter - the 36 ancient streets in an electric car or Cyclo or enjoy the traditional Water Puppet Show.

Recommendation: You should come to Hanoi at the weekend when we have a walking street and night market in the Old Quarter.

Overnight in Hanoi.
